What security software?

If security software is preventing you from connecting between 2 databases, it's probably the security software you need to change, not your Notes security structure.

The Domino server runs with specific account accesses just like any other service. If your security software has thwarted that, then nothing in Domino will change that.

That said ...

Check the signatures on your agent ... **AND** all the script libraries your agent launches. Anytime the agent is connecting with your other database, the agent & the script library (if a function's in the script library) would need to have sufficient access to your database to do what they're requesting to do.

There's also the "security" setting for the agent itself. I believe you'd need security level 2 just to talk to other databases.
